HTML Option
First, write your blog article on the back office or dashboard of your site. Back office is where everything on your blog is managed, done, finalized, published or fixed. It's also your dashboard. After you've written your article, switch to the HTML option (you'd see it somewhere on the tools menu above). When you have switched to the HTML, your article will be translated into codes you cannot understand. Don't bother with the codes.
What you want is how to post images on your blog, not deal with html language.
Image Ad
Then go to your image source (like amazon or high profits or moreniche) and copy the html code of the image and ad you want to post on your article (highlight and copy by a right-click option). After copying it, paste it to your article on html mode. Place it on the paragraph you want it to appear. Then switch the article back to compose. The article should return to normal and show the image ad you just posted. Align it to the right or left to wrap the text around it. That's easy, isn't it.
Other website providers may have the process a bit differently, even use different terms, but basically they're all the same. You go to the dashboard, look for the space for writing articles, look for HTML option, paste the HTML code there, and boom, you have the image on your blog.
Plain Picture
If you want non-ad plain picture on your article, simply opt for the image button or insert image option and you'd be given a browse button to choose files from and access the picture files from your picture or download files in your PC or laptop. Choose a picture from the files and opt for the select button, or click on the image and opt for select. Then upload it and it will be placed on your article. Something like that.
Sometimes, the insert image button is simply a picture frame,. like in the case of Blogspot. Click on that and start uploading pictures. That's how to post images on your blog.
The thing here is to start trying it. At first you'd find it a bit complicated. But with practice, the thing becomes a piece of cake. Don't be afraid to try. Just do it and keep doing it even if you fail or meet errors a lot. If it doesn't work out, just opt for the return or back button or close the article altogether, and then re-open to start a new round. Don't be scared to go wrong. It's the best way to learn anything. Going wrong for sure is why I titled this blog Slog Bhop, a misspelling of Blog Shop. 😁
Your readers should be able to visualize something of what you're talking about. To minimize their guessing and wandering away, provide a hint, and that would be your image or picture. Your article then becomes more interesting. Just don't clutter the article with too many pictures. Slog Bhop wouldn't like you to mess up your blog like that. So keep dropping by our Slog Bhop or Blog Shop for web and blog tips.
